Norwalk Competition Results!

On January 6th, 2018, we had fourth competition in Norwalk, Ohio. This competition was one of our better ones. We placed 9th out of 40 and we went 3-2 but lost both of our quarterfinal matches. Our first match was a devastating 8-104. We lost this match because our batteries' connector wasn't connected to the wire which in turn caused our robot not to move. We won our next match, lost the next, and won the last one by 33 points. Then came alliance selection. Our team paired with teams 6978H from Highland high School and 6403C from our school (Brookside). We chose 6978H because we had previously scored 97 points with them in our third match and we chose 6403C because they could stack six cones on the stationary goals when we could only score four at most. When quarterfinals came around we tried our best, but ended up defeated by teams 598B from Loudonville, 7221T from Perry, and 6403F from our home school. A goal we accomplished was making top 15, so now we can make our new goal to be top 10. Our next competition is at Kalahari Resort, so we're all looking forward to try our hardest then!
